BLKHLTH x ADVIL
BELIEVE MY PAIN
BACKGROUND
Believe My Pain is part of The Advil Pain Equity Project, launched in partnership with BLKHLTH and the Morehouse School of Medicine. The campaign aims to highlight racial pain inequities and equip patients and professionals with tools to navigate medical care.
I was approached by the non-profit BLKHLTH to lead the design and illustration for the campaign’s educational materials, including six public resources and a 40+ page supplemental deck. My challenge was to bring the team’s research to life by organizing and depicting the content in a way that prioritized legibility and represented a diverse range of people. After presenting several design options to the team, we decided on a bold, minimalist style, merging BLKHLTH’s color palette with the visual identity of the campaign.
